Dry Pipe Sprinkler System
Dry Pipe Systems are systems of integrated pipes filled with air or nitration to hold back the water at the valve. Dry pipe systems activate when the heat reaches a certain temperature to activate a sprinkler, this then releases the air or nitration from the pipes allowing the Dry pipe Valve to trip and allow water to enter the pipes and discharge from the sprinkler. Dry pipe systems are installed in areas subject to freezing.
